Description
The Johnston County Schools is a large rural/suburban county immediately east of Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. We have 44 schools with a student population of more than 32,000 and over 4,000 employees. Student achievement in the district ranks within the top ten percent of North Carolina school districts.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Johnson County Schools is to assure that all students are able to reach their fullest potential through the acquisition of knowledge, basic skills, and work habits to enable them to become productive members of society.
