In the Sevier County School System, we recognize the importance of providing an instructional program that responds to the individual needs of our students. Each child has unique interests, abilities, and talents. We understand that as a school district we must make every effort to challenge each child to achieve to his or her greatest potential. The Sevier County School System serves over 14,500 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade and employs more than 2,000 professional, paraprofessional, and auxiliary staff members. There are twenty-eight schools in the system and the organizational structures of the schools vary to meet the unique needs of the communities served.

Mission Statement

The Sevier County School System will provide a safe, inclusive learning environment and diverse educational opportunities for all students as reflected through data-driven analysis to develop skills needed to graduate from high school and enter post-secondary education and/or the work force.
