High School Geography Teacher

Layton Christian Academy is a pre K-12th grade private Christian school and a ministry of Christian Life Center. Located approximately 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Layton Christian Academy is in a prime location to be accessible to students from neighboring cities, as well as Hill Air Force Base. With some 45+ countries represented, Layton Christian Academy has a diverse population of students, primarily in the high school (grades 9-12). Layton Christian Academy’s high school History department offers classes in US History, World History, Geography and AP History. History teachers at Layton Christian Academy are responsible for providing challenging lessons which incorporate a variety of teaching methods, as well as hands on activities to enhance learning and prepare their students for college level History courses. Their focus should be on introducing and expanding upon material to address the needs of all learners in their classroom. They need to be creative , energetic and motivating as they strive to help their students grow both academically and spiritually.
