Must hold a certificate issued by Florida Department of Education.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Professional Certificate, Temporary Certificate, Statement of Status of Eligibility.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Elementary Teacher, English as a Second Language (EFL/ELL/ESL/ESOL), English, Journalism, Reading, Reading Specialist, Reading/Language Arts, Math (General), Science (General).
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.
The certificate status must be active.
Responsible for instructing students in an elementary school from grades K-5. Creates lesson plans, instructs students on subjects such as English Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. (Teacher will be departmentalized) -Plan, prepare and deliver instructional lessons to meet the needs of all learners. -Create positive educational climate for students to learn in. -Meet course and school-wide student performance goals. -Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. -Maintain grade books -Manage student behavior in the classroom by utilizing Positive Behavior System. -Maintain ongoing parental communication.
