Description

The following position is available for the 2020-2021 school year as noted below.

POSITION:                    SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER – 1.0 FTE
                                       (Global Cultures & Civics)
 
AVAILABILITY:             August 2020
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional Educator License with proper endorsements
  • ESL endorsement preferred
  • Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps and cloud-based applications
  • Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
  • Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision
  • Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
  • Effective communication, human relations, and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong orientation toward providing customer service
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school age students


ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:                  Licensed Teacher

SALARY/RATE:                         TBD – per Licensed Salary Schedule - Negotiated Agreement
