HS Biology/Science Teacher
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Biology/Life Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Science (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
Juan Diego Catholic High School is accepting applications for a full-time biological science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Eligible candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and have secondary teaching experience. Candidates should be familiar with Next Generation Science Standards, Canvas Online software and ACT benchmarks for science. Should be willing to use innovative teaching practices to bring students to mastery in those standard/benchmark skills.
Preferred candidates will have Master's degree, have the ability to teach across multiple science disciplines, hold a current Utah State Teaching License, have at least two years high school teaching experience, and have experience with blended online learning and common classroom technologies.
