Full-Time Maintenance Assistant I Essential Duties *Assists in the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement and installation of school property *Assists in the cleaning, repairing, replacing parts of electrical and wiring devices, heating controls, boilers, plumbing lines and fixtures *Assists in assigned painting projects *Assists in repairing, altering or building furniture, glass replacement, carpeting, tile, gutters, roofing and fences *Performs ground maintenance: mowing, snow-ice removal *Operates maintenance tools and equipment *Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in accordance with standards *Attends work daily and be engaged and on task *Performs overtime work and other duties as required
