Description

Spectrum Academy is a charter school for students with autism, with campuses in North Salt Lake and Pleasant Grove. We are looking for a PRN SLP for the 2020-21 school year. This therapist would cover medical and vacation leave for our staff. Our setting requires minimal travel and frequent opportunities for collaboration. We offer flexibility with program planning, and frequent opportunities for professional growth. Our compensation package is higher than many districts, with the added benefit of a strong related services team.

We are looking for someone with a creative, self-motivated personality, and a willingness to think outside the box. Our speech staff perform assessments, see students individually and in small groups, provide treatment within classrooms, and plan and implement classroom-based groups. We need someone familiar with technology and AAC devices, or willing to learn. This is a fun, fast-paced environment with many unique opportunities. Experience with autism and school-based practice is preferred, but not required.
