CodeRVA College Career Services Coordinator

The College/Career Services Coordinator is responsible for providing and coordinating resources and services to students to prepare them for the transition from CodeRVA into the workforce or post-secondary education. This will include coordination of project-based learning implementation and expanding opportunities for student internships and certifications and serving as liaison to business and higher education. *Provide and coordinate resources that prepare students for transition to workforce of post-secondary education *Coordinate project-based learning (PBL) experiences for students *Collaborate with the Computer Science Technology Specialist in working with content teachers, school counselor, academic case managers, business partners, and other stakeholders to design project-based learning (PBL) experiences for students *Provide direct instruction in and coordinate services connected to support workplace readiness and, soft skills including communication, time management, teamwork, networking, and professionalism *Serve as an embedded instructional coach to content teachers in PBL *Serve as liaison to institutions of higher education to coordinate dual enrollment services and logistics *Coordinate student internships and mentorship programs with business partners *Collaborate with the Outreach Coordinator to schedule student seminars and speakers and other student opportunities *Track trends and developments in workforce training and potential certifications *Assist director of testing with state testing, industry certification and credentialing *Contribute monthly assessment reports to the MSAP project director demonstrating progress towards meeting benchmarks and objectives of the MSAP grant *Collaborate with MSAP project director to submit data reports to the MSAP project evaluation team *Perform other related duties as assigned
