?Newcastle Public Schools – Four-Day Instructional Week
Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and student-centered early childhood Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is located within a progressive, four-day instructional week district committed to academic excellence, creative expression, and whole-child development.
Minimum Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Vocal/General Music (required) or early childhood music equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and complete student records and instructional documentation.
Commitment to creating a positive, engaging, and rhythmically active learning environment for all young students.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and performance-coordination skills.
Job Responsibilities Include: Planning and delivering high-quality, standards-based early childhood music instruction.
Introducing foundational music concepts such as rhythm, melody, and movement to young learners.
Monitoring, assessing, and nurturing student progress and creative development.
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
Collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student success and school community engagement.
