Job Description: Human Resources Clerk
Position Summary
The Human Resources Clerk performs specialized administrative and clerical functions to support the district's personnel operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate employee records, managing essential benefit and compliance programs, and facilitating smooth employment processes for all district staff.
Reports To: Executive Director of Academics
Classification: Support Staff
Duties and Responsibilities The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Insurance Administration: Coordinate and process employee health, dental, vision, and life insurance enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
Worker’s Compensation: Serve as the primary point of contact for worker’s compensation claims, ensuring accurate documentation is completed, filed, and tracked in a timely manner.
Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the new hire process, including assembling onboarding packets, verifying background checks, collecting required employment forms, and setting up initial personnel files.
School Personnel Reporting: Compile, maintain, and submit required state and local school personnel reports in compliance with statutory deadlines.
Teacher Certifications: Track, verify, and assist certified staff with the maintenance and renewal of valid Oklahoma teaching credentials and certificates.
Paraprofessional Testing: Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate required competency testing for paraprofessional candidates across the district.
Records Management: Maintain a high level of confidentiality while organizing digital and physical personnel files, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Other Duties: Perform various other district-related tasks and support duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Academics.
