Position Summary:
Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a reliable and caring Full-Time Substitute Teacher for the Newcastle Early Childhood Center (Pre-K through 1st grade). The successful candidate will support classroom instruction, maintain a positive and safe learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Ability to pass an Oklahoma State Department of Education background check (required)
Responsibilities:
Implement teacher lesson plans and manage classroom routines
Supervise and engage students in learning and daily activities
Maintain a positive, orderly, and safe classroom environment
Communicate effectively with staff and students
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Compensation and Schedule
Full-time position following the district calendar with pay and benefits per Newcastle Public Schools policy.
