Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Elementary (APT only) (Level 1), Elementary (APT only) (Level 2), Elementary (APT only) (Level 3), Elementary (APT only) (ARL), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 1), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 2), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 3), Elementary Education (1-8) (ARL), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 1), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 2), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 3), Elementary Education (K-6) (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Computers, Elementary Teacher, Success for All, Title I, Montessori Elementary I (6-9 years), Montessori Elementary II (9-12 years).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.


Seeking an innovative and motivated teacher with a grades 1-8 endorsement. This position is for a lead teacher position in a mixed-grade classroom. Potential positions available in Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) or Upper Elementary (Grades 4-6). Ignite Entrepreneurship Academy's innovative approach to teaching is grounded in Montessori methodology, blended learning and project-based learning. The mission of IEA is to promote entrepreneurial success through academic rigor, while creating a culture of creativity, collaboration, adaptability, accountability, communication, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities will include: Developing lessons and units of study that incorporate the multiple intelligences while incorporating the Montessori method, blended and project-based learning. Engaging in ongoing assessment of student progress using a variety of means, maintaining accurate records, and using assessment data to tailor instruction to individual student needs to increase student performance. Collaboratively planning with a grade team, co-teacher or associate teacher. Participating in extensive professional development activities, both internal (led by the directors, teachers and other trained consultants) and external (visiting similar schools, attending conferences, etc.). Maintaining frequent communication with students, students’ families, colleagues, and other school stakeholders.
