POSITION INFORMATION:
 
Supervisor:  Mr. John Coberly, Maintenance Supervisor
Employment Period:  12 months
Employment Status:  Full-time
Pay Grade:  H-13
Hiring Range:  $20.75 - $26.90 / hour
Start Date:  July 1, 2025


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of communication systems; intercoms, Public Address equipment, microphones, speakers, switch banks and wiring
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining electronic access systems
  • Maintains and installs video and audio surveillance equipment.  Troubleshoot and program security systems including monitors, cameras and Aiphone audio/video security equipment
  • Maintains and repairs digital display equipment
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems and inspections.  Coordinates work with contractors as required
  • Assist Technology Department with server integration of security systems and networking as required
  • Available for emergencies and coordinates with school security and local law enforcement for security prevention and investigations
  • Other duties as may be assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  •  High School diploma/GED with documented technical training
  • Two years experience in electronic maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of security and fire systems
