This position is for a Health/Physical Education Teacher at the NUAMES Davis Campus. The successful candidate will:
Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lessons in Health and Physical Education based on Utah State Standards.
Promote student physical fitness, teamwork, and personal responsibility through a variety of physical activities.
Teach health concepts including nutrition, mental/emotional health, substance abuse prevention, human development, and healthy relationships.
Support students in setting personal wellness goals and understanding the importance of lifelong physical activity.
Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, administration, and parents.
