Part Time Title VI Paraprofessional - Canyon View Middle School

Canyon View Middle School is seeking a Part Time Title VI Paraprofessional 15 hours per week beginning in August for the 2025-2026 school year.


The Title VI Paraprofessional is under the direction of the school principal, works with school secretaries to identify Native American students and assists teachers in their academic support. Provides instructional support assistance to At-risk Native American students individually and in small student groups, and performs a variety of instructional and classroom interventions and supports, as well as related data/clerical tasks to support teachers, other professional staff and students in all classrooms or learning environments.

• Works with school secretaries to identify and academically support At-risk Native American students 

• Provides instructional support assistance to Native American students and student groups. 

• Assists in programs that facilitate success for Native American students.

• Serves as a liaison among schools, district, and parents.

• Works with and assists parents to support their student’s academic success

• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with other students.

• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance is required 

• Operates various types of office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc.

• Complies with established district policies and procedures.

• Attend district level Title VI meetings 

• Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google docs and check email frequently. Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.
