Full Time -200 Days (Start date August 4, 2025)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality art instruction aligned with the developmental and educational needs of primary grade students. Fosters creativity, self-expression, and foundational artistic skills in a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holds a professional license with an endorsement in Art Education PreK–12 or appropriate grade level
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of early childhood artistic development and age-appropriate instructional practices
- Possesses personal and professional characteristics essential for working effectively with young children, families, school personnel, and the community
- Ability to manage materials and monitor students in a classroom, studio, or outdoor art-making setting
- Ability to organize and maintain supplies, materials, and student artwork in an orderly and accessible manner
- Competent in integrating instructional technology in support of visual arts learning
- Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity to move and manipulate art supplies and displays (able to lift 50 pounds unassisted)
- Ability to prepare required documentation and written reports
- Possesses high moral standards and professional integrity
