General Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Performs skilled and unskilled work in a variety of trades including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing; duties are related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of School Division buildings and properties.  Experience and/or certification in HVAC and Electrical trades is strongly preferred.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma.
• One to two years of experience in trades work or building maintenance.
• A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
• HVAC and/or electrical certifications or licenses strongly preferred.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Full Time-248 days @ 8 hours per day, (Days will be prorated for the remainder of the Fiscal Year.)
Competitive salary according to School Board Pay Plan.
