Qualifications
Master's Degree in School Psychology
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah State Board of Education School Psychologist License
Interns must be enrolled in an accredited masters level university program in the field of School Psychology, and meet all requirements to fulfill an internship role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
- Assessment of students and preparing confidential psychoeducational reports.
- Assist in the development of Individual Education Programs.
- Provide individual and group counseling and therapy.
- Assist in the development of behavioral support and intervention plans.
- Provide consultation-based services to students, teachers, paraeducators, administrators, and families.
- Comply with the Individuals with Disabilities Education, Utah State Special Education Rules, and San Juan School District Special Education Policies.
Placed on the Licensed Salary Schedule plus a $10,000 yearly stipend for license (stipend not applicable to interns).
Hours
Full time, 183 day contact (teacher schedule), to begin August 11, 2025.
This position will be for one year only.
