Social Studies Educator, with coaching duties

Position Overview: Little Axe Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Studies Educator to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be certified to teach classes in the field of Social Studies, with coaching duties. This individual will be able to cover all aspects of the subject they are assigned, while maintaining a collaborative, inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. Key Responsibilities: Create a welcoming and supportive environment for students to grow and succeed. Teach with a focus on developing strong foundational skills and preparing students for higher-level courses. Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and school administration. Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular opportunities and enhance the overall science program. Oversee a daily advocacy period to mentor, develop, and maintain positive relationships with students.
