Fifth-Grade Teacher

The Madeleine Choir School, a rigorous PK-8 Catholic school with an emphasis on music and the liberal arts, is seeking to hire two fifth-grade teachers. Both will teach ELA and Math, and the two will split Social Studies and Science based on interest and strengths.

Plan and deliver engaging content which builds student mastery in and love of the subject; support each student’s individual learning needs; provide timely, productive feedback and coaching; maintain an orderly and joyful class environment; know and love students as whole persons. •Faculty. Fulfill professional obligations (e.g. supervisory duties, staff meetings); commit to professional and personal growth; maintain supportive and kind professional relationships. •Parents. Communicate with parents in a timely, respectful, collaborative manner. •School. Support the Catholic identity and mission of the school.
