Description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Instruction: -Monthly Instructional observation & feedback of teachers, including instructional support for teachers as needed. -Instructional observation & feedback of paras and interventionists, including instructional support as needed. -Weekly meeting with the leadership team to look for data trends and professional learning needs. -Create and facilitate professional learning opportunities and training for staff both in person and virtually at BOY, MOY and EOY. -Collaboratively plan, organize, and execute professional learning (team PLs) and Learning Walks. - Stay informed and expand knowledge of research-based instructional practices. - Attend USBE Coaching Community of Practice - Support teachers in following the MTSS model for teaching and assessing in all 3 Tiers - Support staff in planning for interventions during Power Hour

Curriculum: - Collaborative curriculum coordination with teachers, leadership, and principal. -Curriculum and lesson planning support for teachers as needed. - Create instructional materials, curriculum, supplies for the year including training, execution, support with implementation, and support with usage as needed. - Create and facilitate training on curriculum for teachers as needed.

PLC: -Weekly PLC support for PLC teams in live meetings. - Collaborative planning for PLC with instructional leadership team and principal. - Participate in monthly PLC Lead meetings and facilitate the meeting as needed.

Leadership: - Monthly School Improvement team (SIP) meetings with additional committee work meetings as needed, including at least 2 days of in-person summer work. - Monthly Data Team Meetings with accountability on student outcome data and travel to in-person collaboration meetings as needed - Stay up to date with state assessment changes and other current information, with in-person or virtual state meetings when necessary. - Participate in book studies and other professional learning opportunities as assigned by administration. - BOY PL planning and execution including in-person meetings as necessary. - MOY PL planning and execution including in-person meetings as necessary. - Attend monthly coaching/planning meeting (planning Monday best practices, PL, and debrief on coaching) meet more often as needed

Assessment & Data: - Attend USBE RISE trainings throughout the year - Provide schoolwide trainings for RISE Benchmarks and Summative Assessments - Support Assessment/Data Coordinator with RISE summative planning and execution - Attend USBE Acadience trainings throughout the year - Work in collaboration to provide Acadience trainings to staff - Support Assessment/Data Coordinator with Acadience testing - Facilitate data dives with teacher teams throughout the year - Support teams with creating and tracking CFAs - Support teachers in analyzing data from their trackers - Support teams in using screeners and placing students in appropriate intervention groups - Support teachers to get Acadience Progress Monitoring done at the rate required by the state - Support teachers in following the RISE benchmark administration plan for the year
