Art Teacher

Qualifications required at entry include: Valid teaching certificate or proof of pending graduation from an accredited university; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; Special Education endorsement in Emotionally Handicapped and Learning Disabilities preferred, but not required. Basic skills desired in teacher applicants include: classroom supervision and management, assessment, planning, organization, evaluation, time management and interpersonal work habits, professional collaboration with peers, ability to apply a variety of instructional methodology with special populations, sound written and oral communication, record keeping, decision-making, and problem-solving.
