Description
This is a 12-month contract position requiring expertise in instruction, assessment, and intervention strategies/programs designed for at-risk students. The role includes delivering directed services to students with IEPs, 504 plans, behavior support needs, Murray Adult Transition Program participants, and students requiring ADAAA and McKinney-Vento services.
Key Responsibilities Ensures full district-wide compliance with IDEA rules, regulations, procedures, and all applicable state mandates. Facilitate support teams and evaluate licensed and support professionals. Serve as the Director of the Early Childhood Education Center and the Murray Adult Transition Program Director. Mentor and assist school administrators in their responsibilities. Maintain familiarity with federal, state, and local policies and regulations. Prepare and manage budgets, including securing program funding through grant writing. Evaluation of licensed and support professionals. Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
Additional Contributions Actively participate as a member of the District Teaching and Learning Team, contributing to the planning, coordinating, and delivering of professional development initiatives. Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment with district goals and priorities. Provide guidance and support to colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications Strong background in compliance, instructional leadership and program management. Experience in budget management and securing grants. Proven ability to build and lead collaborative teams. Experience in mentoring and coaching.
