Description
Assist the head coach in planning and implementing the speech and debate curriculum.
- Provide instruction and mentorship to students in various speech and debate formats, including but not limited to Lincoln-Douglas, Policy Debate, Public Forum, and Individual Events.
- Help organize and facilitate practice sessions, workshops, and mock debates.
- Offer constructive feedback to students on their performances and help them refine their skills.
- Assist in the preparation of students for local, regional, and national competitions.
- Collaborate with the head coach to develop strategies for team growth and improvement.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
- Attend competitions and events to support and guide students.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding schedules, expectations, and progress.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in speech and debate.
