Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Working from the school office in Salt Lake City, Utah, the Special Populations Administrative Assistant will be a part of an energetic and thriving team community. There may also be opportunities to work from your home office in addition to the school location. An online school has an environment conducive to supporting the various needs of teachers, administrators, students, and parents – all while being part of an organization that will value and support you. The Special Populations Administrative Assistant will be instrumental in supporting the Special Populations Department. Responsibilities:
-Entering data into the school information system
-Student record management including obtaining signatures and physical filing
-Generating reports
-Answering questions from schools, families, and students
-Scheduling meetings and venues for SPED (Special Education) and ELL (English Language Learning)
-Assist with state assessments, progress monitoring, screening, and benchmark testing
-Assisting the Director of Special Populations with a wide variety of daily responsibilities; and
-Additional duties as assigned
