CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both the agency light duty fleet as well as the Campus Bus Fleet.
This includes the following:
• Oversees all aspects of the fleet maintenance in accordance to the ISA with ADOT, including
scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinates with agency staff to ensure that the related repairs or work does little to no impact to
their responsibilities.
• Attends all Fleet Council meetings and ADOT customer meetings to ensure that all new
requirements are met and adhered to.
• Coordinates all vehicle exchanges transfers and surplus.
• Reviews vehicle transfer paperwork is for completeness and correctness
• Audits fleet data reports and budgeting, provides updates to the Operations Manager
(Transportation) and Director of Operations.
• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies with regards
to the fleet in coordination with ADOT.
• Assist staff with roadside emergencies.
• Records assignment and distributes ASDB fuel cards
• Coordinates with payroll and the Risk/Safety coordinator annual forms and training, including
RM29, ASEDRA and domicile to duty.
• Ensures all vehicle registration and insurance paperwork for each vehicle.
• Assists with auto loss reporting with the state Risk Management department.
• Cross-trains in one or more of the organizational administrative positions
• Other duties as assigned
TRAINIG AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of administrative support position
• Centralized fleet services or large scale organizing-focused project SKILLED IN:
- Time management
- Judgement and decision making
- Bus evacuation procedures
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Policies, procedures, and programs of the immediate work unit
- Principles and practices of administration and management
- Agency or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures
- Manage Multiple spreadsheet Implement systemic approach to organizing-focused project
- Read and analyze data
- Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with, contractors, school staff, and students. Ability to keep accurate records.\

SPECIAL CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass FBI and State background check or Fingerprint Clearance Cardas position requires by policy or Statute
- Defensive Driver Training Program to be completed by all agency personnel that driveon State business
