Human Resource Analyst
Purpose
The job of Human Resource Analyst is done for the purpose/s of providing support to recruitment and retention
efforts by sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying, closing and devloping candidates for open positions
that enhance student success.
This job reports to Assigned Administrator
Essential Functions
Conducts behavioral based interviews for all internal and external candidates for the purpose of ensuring
eligibility for employment for qualified candidates.
Follows established guidelines throughout the hiring process for the purpose of maintaing the highest
standards for attracting and hiring high quality caring candidates.
Implements creative sourcing strategies for the purpose of indentifying and attracting a diverse caring and
compassionate pool of candidates.
Increases the hiring process efficiency for the purpose of leveraging cost-effective practices, programs,
and sourcing solutions.
Maintains a wide variety of manual and electronic documents , files and records (e.g. employee records,
reports, applicant tracking systems, EPARs, etc.) for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or
historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
Monitors and advises on market trends, acting as a consultant throughout the hiring process and providing
meaningful feedback for the purpose of assisting the final selection process.
Organizes physcial space and resources for the purpose of creating a positive, structured learning
environment for professional development attendees.
Participates in a variety of meeting, workshops, and/or trainings for the purpose of providing or receiving
information, recording minutes, and supporting the needs of the attendees.
Presents information on administrative procedures (e.g. department/program policies, etc.) for the purpose
of orienting new personnel and/or disseminating information to existing personnel.
Processes a wide variety of documents and materials (e.g. new hire paperwork required for payroll, salary
placement, credentials, health insurance, district, state and federal documents, etc.) for the purpose of
disseminating information in compliance with adminstrative guidelines and/or regulatory requirements.
Represents assigned Adminstrator in their absence for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering
information required for their functions.
Researches a variety of topics (e.g. market trends, hiring process, policies, etc.) for the purpose of
providing information and/or recommentations that address a variety of adminsitrative requirements.
Responds to a wide variety of inquiries from internal and external parties (e.g. staff, students, public
agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing infromation, faciliitating communication among parties and/or
providing direction.
Schedules a wide variety of activities (e.g. job fairs, meetings, travel reservations/accomodations, facility
useage, etc.) for the purpose of making necessary arrangements for recruitment efforts.
Supports new employee orientation (e.g. introducing personnel, payroll, benefit policies, assisting with
enrollment forms, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring employees are knowledgeable of current practices and
administrative processes.
Supports and implements procedures and training materials for substitute staff for the purpose of enhancing
programs for students and ensuring that program operations follow established guidelines.
Supports administrators throughout the hiring process for the purpose of developing staffing plans and
ensuring an adequate candidate pool is maintained.
Supports and promotes district initiatives for the purpose of creating a "Grow Your Own Teacher" pipeline.
Supports workshops, training, in-service presentations, etc. in classroom management techniques and other
topics for the purpose of developing skills and establishing effective relationships with all students.
Other Functions
Performs other related dutries as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective
functioning of the work unit.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

common office machines; concepts of grammar and punctuation; office methods and practices; and school accounting
codes.

data; and use basic, job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances;
Ability is also required to work with a diversity of individuals and/or groups; Problem solving is required to analyze

required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: ABILITY is required to schedule a significant number of

priorities; working as part of a team, working with frequent interruptions; and ability to work an alternative schedule that

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional
lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, . Generally the job requires 70% sitting, 20% walking, and 10% standing. This
job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment
Experience: Job related related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
Education: Bachelors degree in job-related area.
Equivalency: Some College and/or vocational school degree in related area and two years of active recruiting
experience.
