Reports to: Governing Board Job Summary: The Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring that Glades Academy adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, with a particular focus on the 21st CLCC program, Title I, the School Lunch Program, and various other areas of compliance-related matters. The Compliance Lead will develop, implement, and oversee processes to ensure full compliance with all relevant policies, laws, and regulations, thereby supporting the school’s mission to provide a high-quality education to all students. Key Responsibilities: 1. Regulatory Compliance: o Ensure the school complies with all federal, state, and local regulations. o Stay informed about changes in education law and policy and recommend updates to school policies and procedures accordingly. o Monitor and report to the Governing Board on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 2. 21st CCLC Grant Management o Monitor the progress of grant activities to ensure deliverables are being met. o Support school staff in the planning and execution of grant-funded programs and events. o Manage all aspects of grant compliance, including application, implementation, reporting, and auditing. o Ensure all grant activities and expenditures comply with the grant's requirements and objectives. o Develop and maintain grant documentation, including reports, records, and files. o Design and implement data collection methods to monitor the effectiveness of grant-funded programs. o Collect, analyze, and report on data related to student participation, program outcomes, and other performance metrics. o Prepare and submit required reports to funding agencies and stakeholders. o Coordinate with community partners and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and resources. o Ensure proper use of grant funds in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. o Oversee the submission of all required grant documentation and reports. 3. Title I Compliance: o Oversee the development and the implementation of Title I programs and services. o Ensure all Title I funds are used appropriately and documented correctly. o Oversee the submission of all required grant documentation and reports. o Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). o Oversee the application process, eligibility determination, and meal counting and claiming procedures. o Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. 4. Internal Audits and Reviews: o Conduct periodical site visits and audits to ensure adherence to compliance requirements. o Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. o Develop corrective action plans to address any compliance concerns identified during audits. 5. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance activities and documentation. o Prepare and present compliance reports to the Governing Board as required. o Ensure all required documentation is prepared and submitted on time. 6. Training and Professional Development: o Provide training and professional development to school staff on compliance-related issues. o Develop and disseminate compliance guidelines and resources to staff. o Stay current on best practices in compliance and regulatory matters in education.
