Must hold a certificate issued by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
The certificate position area must be in School Age Day Care.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Preschool/Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Position Opening: Behavior Support Teacher Location: Newcastle Public Schools, Newcastle, Oklahoma Application Deadline: Open until filled
Newcastle Public Schools is currently seeking a qualified, student-focused educator to fill the role of Behavior Support Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavior management and a strong commitment to supporting student growth in both academic and social-emotional domains.
Qualifications:
(preferred, though not required) Valid Oklahoma teaching certification (Special Education or related certification preferred).
Experience and expertise in student behavior support, classroom management, or behavioral intervention strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior support strategies to assist students in achieving academic and behavioral success.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
