Essential Functions:
- Assists other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
- Estimates labor and materials for the purpose of obtaining materials and assigning tasks to ensure job completion.
- Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with building and safety regulations.
- Installs materials (e.g. tile, concrete, masonry, etc.) for the purpose of providing enhancements and/or upgrades.
- Maintains vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition
- Operates heavy equipment (e.g. Bobcat, back hoe, compactor, etc.) for the purpose of preparing site for flat work.
- Orders materials for the purpose of ensuring availability of materials as needed.
- Performs skilled trade functions (e.g. forming, pouring, finishing and stamping concrete; installing tile;, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
- Prepares written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
- Repairs equipment and tools for the purpose of ensuring items are in safe working condition.
- Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
- Assists with site snow removal for the purpose of ensuring access and safety to students, staff and visitors.
- Attends meetings for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
Requirements:
*Class A CDL Combination (This can be earned after starting employment)
Job related experience within a specialized field is required
Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability
High School diploma or equivelent
16 years or older
