Job Summary: (Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required)
The ELL paraprofessional work with English language learners in small groups in the classrooms – supporting students to learn English.
Responsibilities:
Provide home language tutorial assistance in basic subject areas as defined in 6A-6.0904. FAC. Provide individual or small group instruction. Assist in communication between school and parents. Prepare strategies and construct materials for vocabulary learning and regular lesson reinforcement under the teacher's direction. Assist with recordkeeping tasks and data collection. Participate in required professional learning and meetings. Complete required student screenings and assessments. Perform other duties as assigned What UCP Offers
