Description
Winchester Public Schools is looking for substitute custodians to provide coverage in the absence of regular custodians throughout the school division. Duties include general cleaning and minor maintenance in all areas of the building and grounds to include: scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, buffing, trash removal, snow removal, grass mowing, and hedge trimming. Position may also involve moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Other duties as assigned by the school's principal / designee.
Qualifications:
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in custodial or related field preferred.
Pay Rate: $9.43 per hour
Workday:
As needed, Monday through Friday
