Must hold a certificate issued by any agency.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: English, Journalism, Reading, Reading Specialist, Reading/Language Arts, Early Intervention Specialist, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Special Education (General), Debate/Argumentation, Speech/Public Speaking.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active.
Description
The Reading Coach has the crucial role of providing instructional leadership to Teachers to enhance the quality of teaching. This involves offering intentional and continuous support to staff at both the school and classroom levels within the Crossroad Academy Charter School. The Reading Coach collaborates with the team to establish successful educational programs that adhere to research-based tactics and school regulations. They provide support throughout the entire process of implementing an assessment program, which involves assisting teachers in analyzing student assessment data, helping teachers identify students’ needs based on data, and assisting teachers with planning and taking action to modify their instruction. As an Instructional Coach, you will work with teachers and other staff members to enhance their skills in implementing adopted curricula and instructional programs. You will collaborate with other coaches, the school principal, and management teams to organize and execute school-wide assessments.
