Must hold a license issued by any agency.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Elementary Teacher, Science (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
Channing Hall is seeking a part-time K-5 science and technology teacher. The position would be responsible for coordinating ThinkLab/Makerspace lessons, collaborating with the middle school technology teacher, and teaching a standards-based, engaging curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have an endorsement in STEM or educational technology, and experience in the classroom. Candidates should also be enthusiastic, creative, and ready to work with all grade levels.
Job responsibilities: Teach K-5 STEM classes Collaborate with science and technology department, as well as specialists and grade-level teachers. Other duties as assigned (recess, dismissal, etc.)
