Description

Position Title: Media Clerk Employment Schedule: 10 months, full-time Duties and Responsibilities: Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance and availability of the school's media center(s) • Implementing and monitoring the school-wide Accelerated Reader and/or Online Assessment program post-reading including an incentive program, where applicable • Monitoring the Media Center and utilizing the Destiny media management program • Consulting, supporting and collaborating with classroom teachers to provide media support services • Managing student behavior • Communicating necessary information to students, colleagues, and parents regarding school-wide media/technology initiatives • Supporting the general school operations • In addition to your specific job duties, all employees are expected to participate in activities that include but are not limited to arrival and dismissal supervision, cafeteria supervision, attendance at after-hours events, and hallway duty. • Other duties as directed. • Conducts Ongoing Professional Development as needed and directed by the principal • Works effectively with school colleagues, parents, and the community to support students' learning and well-being. • Accept and incorporate feedback and coaching from administrative staff. • Actively engages in professional development opportunities. • Performs other related duties as required.
