Description
South Summit School District is seeking applicants for a part-time child nutrition cook. This position will be up to 25 hours per week. The position will begin at the start of the upcoming school year. Salary will be based on the 2023-2024 Classified Salary Schedule and will receive no benefits. Qualified applicants will be responsible for the preparation and serving of food while complying with all state health, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards. Responsibilities will include kitchen cleaning and cleaning of equipment. Applicant will perform other duties as assigned under direction of kitchen manager and director. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and obtain a state food handler permit. Previous experience in school cafeteria preferred, but not required. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
