DLI Spanish/English Teacher - South Summit Middle School

South Summit School District is seeking applicants for a full-time Spanish and DLI (Dual Language Immersion) Teacher for South Summit Middle School. Salary will be based on the 2023-2024 Certified Salary Schedule and will receive 100% paid family medical benefits, retirement/pension, life & LTD, and paid time off. Qualified applicants must have evidence of Advanced-Mid proficiency in Spanish. Teacher must have a current elementary teaching license. Applicants selected to interview will be required to demonstrate a lesson. Dual Immersion Endorsement is preferred, but may be obtained after hiring. Preferred Skills include: • strong knowledge and skills in teaching LA, math, and content areas • knowledge of Second Language Acquisition teaching and learning theories • Collaborate effectively with colleagues • Flexible and adaptable • Accountable for implementing the program with fidelity • ESL Endorsement
