Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and state standards.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student learning, growth, and development.
Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs or learning difficulties.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Evaluate student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, and use data to inform instructional decision-making.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and other concerns.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
State certification in elementary education.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience in an elementary classroom.
Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques for teaching second and third-grade students.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs or learning difficulties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
