Theology Teacher/Campus Minister
Description
Saint Olaf Catholic School seeks a highly motivated and passionate Theology Teacher/Campus Minister to join our faculty. This position involves teaching Theology courses to students in elementary/middle school grades and serving as the Campus Minister to promote the spiritual development of our student body. This individual will work actively with the administration and faculty to help create an environment that fosters each person in our community to have a deep and personal encounter with God.
Responsibilities:
-Teach Theology courses to elementary and middle school students, incorporating Catholic doctrine and theology into the curriculum. -Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with school and diocesan standards. -Serve as the Campus Minister, leading and coordinating religious activities, retreats, and service projects. -Create and implement a spiritual formation program that fosters the growth of students' faith. -Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes student engagement and success. -Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff to integrate faith into all aspects of school life. -Participate in school events and committees, and maintain open communication with students, parents, and administration. -Attend continuing education opportunities and remain current with developments in theology and Catholic education.
