Part-Time Special Education Behavior Para Educators

South Summit School District is seeking applicants for two part-time special education classroom specialist (paras) in the South Summit Elementary School for up to 29.5 hours per week. Salary will be based on the 2023-2024 Classified Salary Schedule - with $2 per hour additional stipend. Qualified applicants will work up to 29.5 hours per week. Position requires a high school diploma with two years of experience preferred. Applicant must have positive, compassionate attitude and maintain good relationships with staff, students, and parents. Responsibilities will include student instruction under teacher supervision. Training will be provided to maintain high on-task behavior. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check. This position does not qualify for benefits.
