Description
POSITION: FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES TEACHER & FCCLA ADVISOR - UHS
Requires: Secondary License and applicable endorsement(s)

- Secondary teachers are encouraged to devote time to extra-curricular activities as needed in order to supervise, plan, and encourage all students to become involved;
- Extra-curricular qualifications would be preferred – coaching club advisor, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Recruit and supervise growth and development of students to plan, organize, and lead the local FCCLA chapter;
- Supervise/chaperone club members during activities and trips;
- Oversee meetings and elections of officers according to FCCLA guidelines;
- Assist officers with development of meeting agendas and calendar of events;
- Prepare students for competitions.
- Coordinate transportation/logistics of all students to and from competitions;
- Organize, supervise, and conduct fundraising and sponsorship activities according to district policy to support the chapter;
- Other duties as assigned.
- CTE teacher preferred
- Knowledge of FCCLA
