The Scholarship Coordinator researches and presents opportunities for students by maintaining liaisons with higher education institutions, community businesses and organizations; providing information and/or direction to students in scholarship application; and promoting programs with staff and parents. This position will also work closely with the WBL Coordinator in assisting students as they work towards Pathways that align with their college and career readiness.
- Conducts workshops and presentations to students to assist in scholarship application.
- Reviews and researches scholarship opportunities.
- Organizes guest speakers.
- Promotes program to businesses and/or civic groups to develop and maintain community interest and participation.
- Serves as ready resource to students.
- Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping.
- Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.
- Works alongside WBL Coordinator in implementing Pathways and Pathway completion for students.
- Assists counselors with Utah Futures
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Head Counselor, Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
