Elementary Teacher for Multi-Grade Level Classroom
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Elementary (APT only) (Level 1), Elementary (APT only) (Level 2), Elementary (APT only) (Level 3), Elementary (APT only) (ARL), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 1), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 2), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 3), Elementary Education (1-8) (ARL), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 1), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 2), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 3), Elementary Education (K-6) (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Elementary Teacher, Montessori Elementary I (6-9 years), Montessori Elementary II (9-12 years).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
The license status must be active.
Description
-Ignite Entrepreneurship Academy (IEA) is a K through 8th grade Montessori/student-centered school whose mission is to promote entrepreneurial skills and success through academic rigor, project-based learning, and creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and creative problem solving. -A teacher at IEA is to be a leader and play an active role in realizing IEA’s mission by building and shaping the school culture. The teacher will help accomplish this by building a learning environment that is innovative, collaborative, and rigorous, and by developing each student’s potential to learn, explore, create, and problem-solve effectively through an environment that is centered upon self-directed learning and project-based learning. -A teacher at IEA will experience a culture and climate that is collaborative and supportive, with close connections and support from their respective grade level team, school counselor, student support team, instructional coach, literacy/math specialist and the administrative team.
