Description
The CTE Director for the CTE Charter School Consortium oversees and supports the CTE Programs of the LEAs in the consortium (currently 15 charters). The Director is the liaison between the USBE and the LEAs and helps ensure each program meets the high-quality program components of state CTE requirements aligned with the individual mission of each LEA. They work with state CTE region committees with local CTE Directors to support the CTE efforts with local industry and higher education partners.
Job Description: Ensure State CTE compliance and oversight to each of the consortium schools, Liaison between LEA and CTE State Board of Education, Attend and disseminate information from CTE director's meetings, and CTE regional meetings, Follow bylaws for spending consortium money with proper record keeping, Administer CTE financial training and guidance in program responsibilities for school CTE contacts, Work with and oversee consortium's CTE coordinator, Support schools with certification and recognition of CTE pathways, Support schools on Precision Exams Skills testing or industry testing, Assist in supporting all College and Career Awareness programs, Reports to Consortium Advisory Committee and Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time year-round administrative salaried position.
