Managing School Change A new Executive Director (“ED”) will oversee a multi-year transformation at Rockwell Charter High School to improve curriculum and programs and to address the learning and career pathways of students at the school. First, the ED will manage the expansion and improvement of the school’s Career and Technical Education to provide greater access to career-focused programs resulting in attainment of credentials with labor market value. Second, the ED will enhance personalized credit recovery options for students on nontraditional pathways including the provision of online, blended, and in-person programs. Third, the ED will guide the school toward an emphasis on CTE, project-based, and work-based learning experiences as students begin to prepare for careers, college, or technical training. Finally, the ED will support these changes by seeking amendments to the school’s charter in accordance with the authorizer’s required process.
