Description
Qualifications
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah Secondary or CTE Professional License with welding endorsement or auto certifications and endorsements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, develop students' skills and competence in welding or automotive technical skills; teaches skill and knowledge in welding/auto vocational courses to students, grades 7-12; promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning; designs learning activities to demonstrate the application of technical skills to everyday existence; guides students in the selection of projects or experiments; instructs students in the proper and safe use, care and storage of tools, machines and equipment; other duties as assigned.
Salary
Placed on Licensed Salary Schedule.
Placement is determined by education level and years of experience. Experience credit will be awarded for the first ten (10) years of certified experience in an accredited school.
Low cost teacher housing available
Hours
Full time, to begin August 2023.
