This position is for the 2023-2024 school year but could start April 10, 2023
This position is available starting on April 10, 2023. However, we will be interviewing applicants who can start in April and those who can only start in August, 2023. We will discuss both options during the interviews.
We are looking for qualified teachers (content and pedagogical skills) and those who can work well with students of diverse backgrounds as well foster positive and productive collaboration with all colleagues.
Licensed applicants are preferred. Applicants must have (or qualify for) one or more of the following CTE endorsements: Family and Consumer Sciences Essentials, Culinary Arts, Fashion Textiles and Apparel, Food Sciences Nutrition.
Teaching in CTE also requires participation with CTE student organizations and events. Applicants who currently hold any of the required endorsements that are listed here or have the coursework necessary to receive the endorsement are highly preferred.

UTAH STATE RETIREMENT
Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month. After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose. Both plans are employer-paid. You can also choose to enhance your retirement with URS by contributing additional money from your paychecks into a 401k, 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
