- Salary based on the 2023-2024 Certificated Employee Salary Schedule (Minimum Base Salary $46,750)
- 162 day contract August 8, 2023 – May 24, 2024 (4-Day School Week)

Description:
Tintic School District is accepting applications for a Band Teacher to teach band to 5th - 12th grade students in Eureka Elementary School and Tintic High School. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, applicant will follow USBE Core Standards and Tintic School District objectives to develop student’s skills and competence. Applicant will be responsible for developing a dynamic, creative, educational and age-appropriate music program and lessons to organize class time so that students have adequate time for preparation, rehearsal, and instruction. Secondary area courses will focus primarily on band. The applicant will plan, coordinate rehearsals for, and direct students in musical programs and performances outside the classroom. The applicant must have a current Utah Secondary Teaching License with a Music endorsement or acceptance to APPEL or have the ability to obtain a current Utah teaching license as outlined by the guidelines of the Utah State Board of Education. Preference will be given to those applicants who have additional endorsements. Applicant may be required to teach additional courses depending on qualifications.
