The Department of Mental Health Services is seeking candidates for the following position:
A twelve-month Curriculum Support Specialist (CSS) who will support schools in addressing student mental health concerns. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the collaboration of mental health services as well as providing professional development. The Curriculum Support Specialist serves as a leader and resource to the administration, schools, and staff. The Curriculum Support Specialist will provide direct support to parents/guardians, mental health professionals and school teams with the coordination of mental health screening, interventions, and recovery. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience or three years of experience in the areas of counseling or social work with a valid Temporary or Professional Florida Department of Education Certification. Salary information: 2022-2023 annual salary of $50,343
